Start with the pre-configured symbols. The scanner runs all 7 patterns across all 20 symbols. When you see a pattern reach "UP CONF" or "DN CONF" status, switch to the Harmonic Patterns Suite on that instrument for detailed analysis and trade execution.

What breakout conditions does the Harmonic Patterns Scanner support?​

The Harmonic Patterns Scanner supports 7 breakout confirmation methods — Close 2 Lows/Highs, Close 3 Lows/Highs, Swing Flip, MACD Crossing, RSI Crossing, TRN Bars Signals, and TRN Bars Signals + Trend (default). The choice determines the tradeoff between earlier entry and higher confirmation.

Does the scanner show which specific pattern was detected?​

Yes, the scanner table displays the pattern type name (e.g., "Crab", "Bat", "Shark") in the Long or Short column when a pattern is detected. The table uses color coding — yellow for active patterns, green for confirmed bullish breakouts, red for confirmed bearish breakouts.

Can I use the scanner with the Harmonic Patterns Suite?​
